I was welcomed by Marc van Cutsem, CEO of the chain, who gave me a detailed presentation of the concept.
At first glance, it looks like a discounter, with a rather rough appearance. Nothing visually appealing (but let’s be honest, discounters rarely focus on style). Yet behind this simple façade lies a well-structured store concept, driven by a clear and coherent vision. And above all, IHPO proves that an aggressive pricing strategy is not incompatible with genuine customer service and advice.
