Following the acquisition of the brand by Delhaize, Louis Delhaize has opened its first new store. Located at Brussels Airport, the shop now serves travellers, airport employees, and the many visitors passing through one of Europe’s busiest international hubs every day.

The assortment has been specifically designed for this environment. It places a strong emphasis on grab-and-go solutions, convenient meal options, and products tailored to the needs of customers on the move. Particular attention has also been given to Belgian products, allowing travellers to take home accessible, high-quality local specialties.

“We worked extensively to create a store that fits perfectly within the airport environment. We are extremely pleased with the result. A huge thank you to all the teams who worked day and night over the past few days to make this opening possible,” said Antonio Ciadamidaro and Adony Koutsakis.

The managers also highlighted the enthusiasm seen from the very first moments. Beyond last-minute convenience purchases, the store is attracting a broad customer base, particularly the many employees working at Brussels Airport. The strong initial response demonstrates that the Louis Delhaize brand still enjoys high recognition and continues to meet genuine consumer demand.
